We love Bude! This picture is of our beloved sea pool where you can clock up the lengths or paddle in the shallows.
Bude is the perfect day trip from Great Burrow, just 40 mins away. Miles of sandy beaches that link up at low tide, Bude’s beaches are simply stunning.
Start at Crooklets and walk around the path above the sea pool so you can take in all the fun stuff thats on offer. From here you can see the magnificent breakwater and the huge lock that marks the beginning of the canal, as it meet the sea. You can choose to walk around to these or just stop at one of the cafes, Life’s a Beach or Rosies, and enjoy the view.
There’s also crazy golf, pitch and putt and a real golf course depending on your level.
But of course the best thing to do is check the tide times and book yourselves into the surf school so you can learn to ride the waves!
